"Misty of Chincoteague"

Dear Mrs. Henry,
I really enjoyed reading your book "Misty of Chincoteague". Excited by the story, I couldn’t stop reading. I love how you developed Misty’s character and described her colors and personality. Although she was a horse, she was still my favorite character. It was amazing how she happily and joyfully enjoyed city life.
Above all, I think you chose the best place, Assateague, for this book. The wild life and nature came alive as I was reading. Beautifully I pictured the blue ocean and tides coming in and out on the white sand. The most exciting part of the book was the race and wondering who was going to win. Liking the race so much I could read all the chapters a hundred times!! I enjoyed your book because it was filled with lots of horses and they are dear to my heart! I thought that it was one of my most favorite books and I can’t wait to read more of your books! (Such a great book!!)
Your Inspired Reader,
